It sure is a challenge, Kristie. These thoughts that we call our ego are the negative fearful ones, cultivated by a society that has established norms and ideologies that are NOT serving individual human beings. It is hard to imagine that society as it is has gone in such a direction that is killing us and the environment we live in. But the evidence is there, but nobody seemed to know what to do about it really.
However there is a new image how we could organize life via a new society and change always starts with a small group. There have been civilizations that were good for people, like Atlantis and Lemuria and the Vedic Culture in old Russia. But there is little known about these and I for a long time thought that those old cultures were just nonsense to be honest. But now I observe this current culture I have to say that that is nonsense as well. So when I got more knowledge about those other cultures I got to see they make more sense and I now see that they could have existed. So now I have accepted them as a great image of how a great world looks like and now I can work towards those. And working towards those great world images starts with checking my thoughts as thoughts are the precursor to any acting.

I trust that this is useful as a background why change is hard and why you do not have many people around you who understand this. It is all very new and it takes time to trickle down. But I am thrilled you are here and on other blogs so you can build your own understanding at your own honest level. Way to go Kristie, you are building a great future aspiration that will make you feel alive and that you have a purpose. How beautiful. xox Wilma

Hmmm this post is very interesting. I am definitely a migrant and new comer to this whole ego-less world. And I'm actually reading "A New World" right now! I am so very new at this so it has been quite a challenge to try and keep my ego at bay.

I don't really know how to go about doing it sometimes. I'm not sure anyone I know personally lives ego-free and I feel that if I did have people to surround me in my day to day life it would be great. For now, I feel like I do a pretty good job at spending time with people who act less off fear and more out of love and I think that's a good start.

Thanks for this great post Wilma and educating me further on this "Heaven on Earth". Who would choose that vs. how we normally live? Of course we want it, but after years and years of doing the exact opposite it's a HUGE challenge to change.

Oh Peggy, don't I know it that what we are on about is not for the faint hearted. It takes real courage to see the wholesome 'what is so' and be a stand for your own part in all this. It takes commitment and honesty to be confronted with your own obsession with what you think you know! To let that go and be totally open to examine everything you do and know, that is big, like starting to learn to live all over again.
I had a bit of an idea as I had to do that as a migrant, so I had some experience and it is actually quite hard to let go and start all over again. I did feel for the Russian and yet at the same time, the poor man had no other chance than to let go of his past status before he could rebuild his life again.
So we all have to let go of our ego, let it crumble and then build it up again. The same has to happen with the world, all this 'civilized' money system that is so exclusive has to crumble and that will hurt our collective egos.
However just like the Russian, we have no choice, so good on us to go for change.
Hugs Wilma

Wilma,

I can definitely attest to the fact that WomenLikeMe is an assault on the ego - the program is not for the faint of heart - it takes a lot of courage and strength and expose the ego for the fear mongerer it really is.

Love,
Peggy
