Love is the real Father Christmas.

Love is the breath of Life; it brought alpaca fiber into my life.

Love brought alpaca fiber into my life.

I have changed a lot in the last decade or rather what I think and believe has changed AND that has changed my Life, drastically.

The biggest change is how I live my life and how I am be-ing.

I feel far less dominated, I rarely feel the need to complain, I am careful not to get into overwhelm and I definitely no longer desire to run around like a lunatic.

I have fewer possessions that take up space and cause me grief. Most things that I have, I love and use.
In short what changed is that each day, more and more what I do I actually love to do, I love what I have and I love who I have become.

I love.

Love is the breath of Life, love brings forth wonderful lives; love is the real Father Christmas.
Let me show you how love works.

I love natural materials; I just love working with wool for example.
So when I was at home pregnant with my first daughter, I took my chance to learn how to spin.
I had no trouble finding a second hand, reasonably priced spinning wheel and off to evening classes I went.
Rain or shine, it never bothered me; I always wanted to go and loved every minute of it.
I adored the teacher, I got on well with the other people in the class and I so enjoyed the smell and the feel of the wool when it slipped through my fingers on to the wheel.

For years I had a lot of fun spinning and dying wool.
I made a lot of sweaters, and I adored giving them away to people who liked them, people who enjoyed wearing wool.
But as it happened, life got busy, which is no surprise in this day and age; children grow up and go off to school and I got back onto the corporate treadmill.
I returned to work and spinning was forgotten, even buried.

But thankfully  life flows and when love is involved it keeps changing for the best.
Last year we moved from the city to rural New Zealand and in the process I found my old friend; my spinning wheel again.
Like riding a bike, I got straight back into spinning, using the wool that had been patiently waiting for to me to finally get used once more, lovingly.
After a while I started to long for other fibers to spin. I had had goat fleeces but recently alpacas had become popular and I kept wondering  how that kind of wool would feel. I also wondered how I could lay my hands on an alpaca fleece.

Then one day we had visitors who immediately showed a huge interest in my spinning wheel and the hanks of wool I had lying around.
Even with the proof in front of them  they asked me if I spun.
My “I absolutely adore it” had them exclaim in excitement; “Oh we have alpacas but we do not know what to do with the wool. We so want to give it to someone who loves doing something with it, would you like to have the fleeces?”
Well, would I ever  . . .  and that’s how I scored my wool.
Simple? Yes!
Miraculous? Yes! Because it was not that long after I had the thoughts about spinning different fibers.
But there is more!

Thus I got the fleeces and the fiber was wonderful. So soft and shiny and after five  sweaters the alpaca fleeces were gone and so were the sweaters I had knitted.
Looking at the empty bags I suddenly realized  though that I was left with no sweater for myself.
Never mind, I wasn’t worried. I now trusted that I could attract more alpaca fiber with my love.

Then one day we went exploring another part of our new neighborhood and we curiously drove into a side road not knowing it was a dead end road that would end up onto private land.
Before we knew it the road got very steep and although we were starting to realize we were going the wrong way, there was no way we could turn around and discretely drive back out the way we came in.
Embarrissingly enough we did arrive on that private property, right in front of its owners who were standing at their front door looking at us.
They were very sweet though and while we apologized, we got talking.
AND during the conversation she told me that she was breeding a special breed of alpacas known for their superb quality of wool.
Well that didn’t fall on deaf ears and before I knew it, I was in the paddock eyeballing the animals whose fiber I love but I had never seen in real life.
Oh, they were so cute and so pretty and so much smaller than I had imagined.
She also showed me some fleeces and the different types and qualities of alpaca wool.
She turned out to be a top breeder with top quality fleeces. Well I could see that, her fleeces were indeed beautiful.

After having has such an unexpectedly great time, I spontaneously invited them to dinner at our place.
And you can guess the outcome?
At our home, she saw my spinning wheel and I proudly showed her my work.
She also must have sensed my love, because she too generously offered me a fleece, telling me how she enjoyed giving one of her beloved fleeces away to a good home.

This time the sweater I knit is mine!

And that is how love works.

WomenLikeMe has this to say about love;

Love gives breath to a wonderful material world that knows no scarcity, domination or adversary.
Intrigued? Go to WomenLikeMe and find more out about The Structures Explanation.

When I look back on the last decade, I realize that all the miracles that happened all involved relationships, things and actions – Structures - that I really, really loved.
Hmmm.

Hi Wilma! Oh how lovely – all the connections and desires in magical synchronicity! Wow I love when that happens! What a delight you will have your jersey. Perfect example of miracles in the land of love! I want you to take a photo of it – I’m still not sure what it is! I LOVE alpacas – I’d farm them here if we had the land. Their wool is divine!

Hi SuZen. Yes, all this synchronicity is wonderful AND I am really understanding that it happens when love is present. I also am realizing that I can operate from love in a context when I am NOT attached to the outcome, like I love my wool but if I am not getting it, that is okay too.
However with this blogging thing when I am a bit more anxious about what I am doing and the results, anxiety takes precedence over love and with my anxiety about enough I am in the way of the miracles to happen. THAT is what I am learning and that is exciting. Only love attracts, the other less productive emotions are always in the way of attracting synchronicity.

Thanks for letting me know that jerseys is not the word that you are using for sweaters, so I used google to find the word for jerseys which is sweaters or pullovers.
Ha, and here we are thinking we talk the same language. I am grateful for the editing function so all jerseys have now been changed into sweaters, LOL. xox Wilma

    “Love Breaths”

It breathes through our actions, our interests, our desires, our choices, and the outcomes. How true and beautifully stated.

Your spinning wheel now spins connections and wool. :-)

      Hi Angelia.
Yes it is a delightful post as it has given me again a firm understanding about how love is the way to go and how my negative Little Voice is so in the way of making me fly.
It is quite astounding, as I said to SuZen I can do it with the things I have not much attachment to, but boy I sure have some work to do to make it happen in what my Little Voice considers more serious areas in my life, like business, blogging and important relationships.
Phew, however I will keep practicing until love becomes my way of being in all areas of my life. .
Imagine that Angelia, free of domination and free to love and thus creating miracles. I know that you have created miracles with love as well and that’s the way to go. Being love feels so good and yet it is amazing that I can still not sustain it everywhere.
However when it happens it sure is a wonderful way to be and spinning connections indeed and I love how our connections spins :~)

That is the darndest thing, Wilma — I have a few pounds of vicuna wool I thought I’d never get rid of! I hope UPS Global will accept it — I guess it depends on the current terrorist threat level alert! Anyway, as you can tell I’m in a silly mood, but great story!

Haha Chris, and forget UPS Global, that is sooo old fashioned. Just teleport will you and while you are at it, why not teleport yourself with it. We can feed you and I can even keep you warm with a knitted sweater.
You know that is what I like about becoming an ‘enlightened’ being, things become so easy.
So just let me know and I will have the plum wine in the fridge, people like you who allow silly moods are always moooooore than welcome.

  5. Wilma, what a tremendous story — I “LOVED” it (yes, it’s true!). First of all, I love the idea of spinning my own wool and knowing how to knit my own clothes, but I’ll save that for another time and possibly another life. (smile)

I, too, have found that when I live a life of love — doing only those things that really resonate with my third chakra — my wishes begin to manifest effortlessly. I have a thought and then it magically appears in physical form. When I’m conflicted, though, and can’t get out of my head, everything is a struggle. Manifesting goodness feels like work.

Love, truly, is the most powerful energy on our planet. Yet in its power, it does not seek to dominate or control. It simply seeks to “be.” Today, I am going to let love be in my life.

Many blessings of joy and abundance to you!

Oh Megan, I know you resonate and that connection feels so good.
What astounds me is that here I am writing all this down, having proof right here in front of me and yet . . . am I consistent in doing all I do from this knowing.
      NO!!!! Arggghh.
Sure I can do it with things that my Little Voice doesn’t deem important like spinning, but boy does it become a struggle when my Little Voice deems it important as making money, looking good, being successful with blogging and business, relationships . . . doing it with the things that Little Voice thinks of as ’survival and success’ . . . well that is another story. I am sure you get my drift and to change THAT is what I am focused on and from what I know about you, you as well.
Oh Megan, I so feel that I am only just making baby steps, this manifesting wool is fun but in the great scheme of things still at beginner’s level.
I so feel there are so many more useful thoughts to have, there are so many more useful explanations to replace the old unserving ones with, so that I finally can live my daily life in a richer way.
However I feel we are on the path and it is one step at the time.
Thanks for being here Megan, I really appreciate your presence. It allows me to express what we are on about as I love how you express your take on things.
Together we all learn, I am absolutely convinced and together we will make the ripples and reach the tipping point.
      Therefore a big hug, Wilma

  6. Nelia says:

Hmmmmm. I find this concept of domination very intriguing. Where can I learn more?

    [Reply]
    • Wilma says:

      Hi Nelia.
Domination is a made-up thought in our head and a very dominating thought at that.
An useful explanation for domination is that we live in a dominating hierarchy and we have internalized the hierarchical way of being.
Because society is based on hierarchy, it has us uniformly obeying and is structured to control and keep us in order.
Man made systems often exist NOT to support us, whereas nature’s systems are always supportive of life and love.
Look at all the systems in your body, they all support each other and work like clockwork, but man made systems are different.
So most of the day we are dominated by one system or another and we do not even notice that, dominating ways have become to us like water is to fish; invisible.
However as we become aware of our uniqueness and our greatness, our heart starts to ask questions like; ‘how come you are so dominated and how come you cannot do what you love?’
So we are waking up to all the dominating systems and structures in our lives and hence you too are asking questions about this internal dominating hierarchical Little Voice that chatters away like your worst authority figure you ever had in your life. Listen to it, observe it and you will finally recognize the domination you live under.

I trust that this is as useful as it was for me. You can see that I loved your question. It is a very important one to be asking and we are certainly exploring this one on our online program called WomenLikeMe.
      Love Wilma

Do you have a specific example of a man made non-supporting system? And if these systems are not of value, why are they created?

          Hi Nelia
Thanks for your question. I love questions as they are the tools for deepening our understanding.
There are lots of examples of non-supportive man-made systems, but an obvious one are the systems we have around going to work in an office, start and finish times.
For many of us we would be better served if we did not go to work every day but worked from home some of the time. If more of us did that other problems would vanish such as traffic congestion and the waste of time of sitting in traffic.
We do not need to be in an office to do much of our work these days, such as answering phones, working on our computer, even attending meetings can be done from home.
If you have worked from home you probably noticed how much more work you got done because of less interruptions (my blog post in 2 weeks addresses that).
Rarely does work allow for ‘job and finish’ as a way of structuring our day to be a supportive win/win for all parties.
Instead, the systems around ‘going to an office’ is primarily there to keep track of us, control us.
          To answer your why question:

if these systems are not of value, why are they created?

A comprehensive answer is beyond the scope of a comment but to point you in the right direction, I can say that:
The inefficiency and valueless nature of having to follow non-supportive systems is of no concern to a hierarchical world. Hierarchy is only interested in its own survival, it is not interested in being of service to its members, no matter what it may say to the contrary. Hierarchy would rather see its members die, than give up its own need for control.
There is a lot more to this explanation, but I trust this is a useful start.
Once I tuned my awareness of non-supportive controlling systems, I now notice them everywhere.

          Love Wilma

  7. Hi Wilma,

Love will always triumph over fear and when we act from love, life has a beautiful way of bringing us exactly what we need when we need it.

Just as Megan said above, we can manifest more easily when we are coming from love and being relaxed.

The key is to be in that state of gratitude and awareness. I think we see that life is designed to work with us and not against us that helps.

Life is abundant and the Universe always will supply us with what we need when we need it.

It truly is a matter of perception. Just as the lillies in the valley are cared for….so are we.

    Love and hugs to you!

      I too see that this is the key;

The key is to be in that state of gratitude and awareness. I think we see that life is designed to work with us and not against us that helps.

And here comes the dreaded word ‘but’ . . . but how come when I know this is the key, how come more and more of us know this is the key, I am still struggling to fully live this way.
Oh I am learning to take baby steps, as I said to Megan, getting the wool is a beautiful example that I can do it, but how come I cannot do it when it relates to what my Little Voice deems are important areas, areas that have to do with my survival.
I am just observing that Nadia, I am just noticing that and I am accepting that that is already a great first step.
However I so need these new explanations that give me a workable understanding how to apply this key into my daily life, and that is what I am focused on with some degree of success and what we focus on withWomenLikeMe. And that excites me as it gives me faith that I am on the path to become the co-creator I am meant to be.
A co-creator who is free from being a puppet of my own Little Voice who just parrots the worst authoritative hierarchical nonsense it can come up with.

I really believe in letting go and listening to our hearts. But it’s more than that. It’s about trusting Life and Love. It is only THEN that we REALLY get to flow with Life. What a superb sharing.

Oh! You are SO rich! Your story here feeds my souls and its born-with truth. The truth I already know. We CAN let go. We CAN trust Life and Love to bring all that we need and ARE.

I just cannot tell you how much I savored your truth here. I drank it in like clear clean spring water. You will see why this means so much to me when my next post goes up. It is just another of your expressions of FREEDOM. which returns me to my heart. If I am not living from my heart I cannot live in the flow of LOVE you speak of here. It’s about letting go and trusting that Love can and WILL carry us home.

      Oh Robin, as always you are showing so eloquently the bigger image;
It’s about trusting Life and Love. It is only THEN that we REALLY get to flow with Life.
Yes, life is motion and life is movement like a river flows and moves things forward . . . and love-in-action is our boat, oar and GPS.

Oh Robin, it is so hard to imagine how our life would look like when we really live daily from this knowing, after we have thrown all our useless and stifling thoughts out off the window. That is why I need you, you know and you can paint that image so I can hold it and put it in my GPS.

I know the thoughts that keep us prisoner will need to come to an end, then the current society will come to an end and we are able to build a new one, free of hierarchical domination and using love as our guidance.
We all know how that feels, we all have acted from our love and yet we seldom have been still enough to observe it, to really notice what has been happening. So we write it off as a fluke, as good fortune, as an one-off never to be repeated again.
That is tragic as that is actually the way to live, it is NOT a fluke but the way creation has been designed to work, if only we understand it again.

I am excited with our emerging knowledge and understanding. It feels so right and I am loving what the understanding is creating.
At least I have my veggies, this beautiful nature around me and soon my alpaca fiber as it is technically not really ‘wool’ but ‘hair’.
Yes they are really sweet and beautiful animals, a lot smaller than I thought and not spitting at all. And thanks for your compliment, who you associate with rubs off, nature is beautiful, LOL.
As always the biggest hug ever, my dearest image builder, XOX Wilma

You’ve got it in one with letting the moment unfold. But we are NOT trained to do that, we come from a training of control and obey at all costs.
When in nature what unfolds in front of our eyes is of a natural order that allows flow as part of a greater divine network.
Robb, we are so limited in only believing that only what we can see exists. We are so limited in knowing what love is, because we cannot measure it and that is our downfall.
As you say, this wild nature in New Zealand is a fantastic teacher and we are very blessed to have access to such teachings.

As I said to Robb, I do not think that we have the measure of love and understand how powerful it is. We do not understand that it is a magnetic energy that makes things happen, like electricity makes things happen.
However I am getting a glimpse of it and as I am becoming aware, the extraordinary power of love that was once invisible to me is becoming visible with these examples as I shared in the post.
That is so exciting, as I think this will bring into existence a whole new array of possibilities away from our current way of operating coming from force and scarcity.
And I find it exciting that you resonate with this as your understanding allows you to do things differently and allows you to do things more in tune with who you are.

      Hi Hilary.
What I get to see is that our distorted thinking is in the way of the flow of life.
The flow of life is abundant and always going to be good, BUT when my mind meddles with the flow and overshadows my love, then things stagnate and do not go as smoothly or as forward.
It has been very interesting to start to realize this and to see examples of this in my daily life.
Because from this I can see how love keeps me going steadfastly towards my goals. My heart knows about steadfast, my mind is the one that gets me off the path, grrrr.

They say that alpaca wool/hair is not like wool, it has no oil in it as wool has and therefore people do not react to it as wool. So people who cannot stand wool can wear alpaca, or so the literature says.

And I can post a picture of the jumper I made for John, mine is still in the manifesting stage. I am going to pick up the fleece this week.

    Hi Wilma
Love flows and love is abundant and when we do things from a place of love life is extraordinary. Sounds like an awesome place. Your alpaca fibre experience is a wonderful example of that.
    BUT, BUT, BUT ….
Crikey it is one hell of a road to get there, the actually doing – the trusting, the loving, the be-ing, the manifesting even, it has become an uphill slog for me. My Little Voice is a constant chitter chatter, constantly telling me how I can’t do this, I don’t deserve that, controlling me, shutting me down, so much so that I don’t see love any more, I don’t see prosperity, I don’t see possibility.
I know it exists, people talk about it all the time. However I have been in total denial as to how much my Little Voice runs my life.
Nadia shared how to change things around
The key is to be in that state of gratitude and awareness.
I have had no clue how to do just that, to hold that space for long enough, without the rude interruption from my Little Voice. Through WomenLikeMe I am learning new explanantions, I am scrutinizing every part of my life, learning the tools that uncover where the prosperity lies, where the love lies, reconnecting with love. I am working on my Little Voices ’stories’, seeing them for what they are, insane. And I’m not there yet, not by a long shot. My Little Voice is strong and there are many more stories to uncover and alot more squirming to do.
Thank You Wilma for be-ing you.
    Love Ann-Marie

Hi Buddy, yes it is a journey to uncover that nasty Little Voice. I at first totally thought that Little Voice was me, I totally agreed with it, that I couldn’t do this or that as it just was not done. So I did stay within the very small and limited confines of comfort and looking good. Would you say that Mrs Bucket looked adventurous in comparison with us??? LOL.
However as the voice is internal we have allowed it take over our lives.
That is why I think we have so much trouble unmasking it, we are so used to obeying and trusting that internal boss, that to learn to obey another ‘master’ feels like stepping over to the enemy. There is a lot of trust and letting go required and practicing to do things against the dictatorial little voice. It is like standing up to very strict parents and saying I do go to that party and then fearing the consequences of your bravery.
That is what it is, going back to being like a rebellious teenager who is testing an authority, closely resembling overprotective incongruent parents, it no longer trusts.
That is uncomfortable but necessary to find your own inner knowing.
Go Ann-Marie, go be rebellious and break free.

We are not meant to just survive, we are here to fully appreciate all the endless possibilities and that is indeed inspiring to know that. Thanks for listening, Elize.
