Hi Mirjana.
Being out-of-integrity is not something we always can do something about. There is so much out-of-integrity around us and there is so much that is invisible to us, that being gentle on ourselves is also an in-integrity act right now.
What we do not know, we do not know and what we cannot do right now it what it is so.
We have so much to learn and unlearn, it would not be helpful to beat ourselves up while we are stumbling. Just like children learn to walk and fall over, so are we learning to live differently and keep falling over too.
To accept that and have compassion is an integrity act. So Mirjana, be gentle and be patient.
It is okay, you are learning and do not judge your results, have compassion for yourself as as you would have compassion for children.
Hugs Wilma

What a really great post. It makes a difference to me today as I am in a serious struggle within myself and trying to make the wise choice about being an honorable person and acting with integrity. At other times in my life, the decisions were easy but somehow today "acting the right way and doing the right thing" aren't giving me the sense of relief like they normally have. Now, I face another night not being able to live with myself. But thank you, it made a difference to me.

Hello there Walter
Thanks for your comment. The beauty of integrity is that we can slide in and out of it. And because we are human beings we have freewill so integrity is a choice. As each situation in life comes up we get to decide whether we live from integrity or not. So it is up to you to 'claim integrity' as you see fit.
Appreciate you stopping by.

Integrity is adifficult virtue to maintain. We cannot apply it always for the very reason that we are not perfect. However, upholding it on important matters carry much weight than trifle ones.

One cannot claim integrity on all matters; there are situations when losing your integrity is a must to support a greater cause. :-)

Hi there Naz
Great to have you here.
Integrity has many levels and it is a life long undertaking. As we observe each layer and take action, we do evolve and move forward being more in than out of it.
It is wonderful to hear that your heart speaks when you are in- integrity. There is so much freedom when that happens.
Hugs to you
