@ Fiona, go girl go. Well that gets you away from your computer! Dogs and nature, how powerful they are.
Can't wait to hear about your harvest.

@Janice. Yes, especially the Mt Eden gardens are such a surprise. Rhododendrons, definitely a feast for the eyes. Flowers are the best.
Shame the photo didn't show but I got a picture in my head anyway and so might everybody else. You just reminded us of it, next best thing to a photo :)
How is that for modern age telepathy.

thanks Wilma - and I thought of you as we planted our FIRST vege garden in the weekend; I've had heaps of fun (and peacefulness) already watering away and catching slugs in the middle of the night (don't want to use pellets as we've just watched our first brood of sparrows leave the nest)... very much feasting the heart!!
thanks

Yeah maybe life is that simple. If so then God has got to be male. j/k.

I was at a fair on the weekend and was reminded of this quote on an artwork...

The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, nor to worry about the future, but to live the present moment wisely and earnestly. Buddha.

I really like that quote.
