I know it, I know it, NOT.

The Intenders of the Highest Good had these wise words this week;

It’s a strange predilection of mankind that we look for confirmation for our ailments. We look to see what happened to everybody else who has experienced similar symptoms to ours, and in doing so, we do ourselves a great disservice. What many people don’t realize is that just because somebody else developed a chronic condition after showing similar symptoms to ours doesn’t mean that we will do the same.

We are all dealing with toxic thoughts, substances, and experiences in our world that may or may not present us with short term aches, pains, bumps, zits, and so forth. It’s a part of life nowadays.
What we oftentimes forget is that a great many of the things we think we have “wrong” are only temporary. They’ll go away by themselves in a short time if we leave them alone.Oh sure, sometimes we’ll need to adjust our diet or our work habits for awhile, and that is natural.

But it’s unnatural for us to look too deeply for confirmation for the causes for our ailments.
In fact, we put ourselves in harm’s way when we delve too deeply, parading every disease imaginable before us, in our quest to find out the cause of an ache or pain.
We tend to make things chronic that would have only been temporary.

Wallace D. Wattle wrote in the same kind of vain, 100 years ago in his ‘Science of getting Rich’ book.
He said to keep your eyes on what you want to achieve and don’t get side tracked by bad news or doubts or other non helpful thoughts or actions.

However I find it very hard not to put my attention on something that is wrong.
That asks for an enormous turn around in my thinking and also for shutting off from media and doom sayers.

John and I already have been turning off the media feeding frenzy on current bad times.
However things are still trickling into my world and I have to do my hardest NOT to get drawn into the drama of bad news stories and shut down my own pipeline to abundance and prosperity.

Because they say what you focus on is what you get.

So although I do get drawn into doom and gloom if I am not careful, it is our lovely Garden of Eden that comes to my rescue.
Hence the photos at the top of this blog, so you too can see how our Garden of Eden is keeping me sane and focused on the right thing.
Abundance, beauty and prosperity.

Can you see the joy of John and his new toy?
That toy has allowed him to make a path along the river so we can access the millions of blackberries that are going to grow out of the millions of flowers that are currently showing up.
The abundance of nature is phenomenal and now it is even easier to access.
Thanks to John’s toy.

Can you see John putting the seeds into the ground after digging his heart out and making space in the empty paddock for the veges.
He saw plenty of space in that paddock and off he went to make use of it.
Now the veges are growing there, beautifully and promising a great harvest of very nutritious vegetables, lovingly cared for and soon lovingly nourishing us and our friends.

In the next photo can you see me thinning the seeds. The abundance with which they come up with is a sight to see.
I am already harvesting young leaves of the silverbeet and the lettuce and the spinach.
To put it in our smoothie in the morning.
The citrus fruit is out of this world.
Plentiful and so juicy and sweet, no shop fruit can compete.
We already have given heaps away too

These things make my heart sing and when I am looking at the photos and going into the garden and walking  on the newly made path of the river, it is not hard to focus on the good things and see and feel the abundance that is surrounding us.

Then I can understand what the Intenders of the Highest Good are on about and Wallace D. Wattle.
It is about going to the good, making the good in my life happen and not seeking that what is upsetting me and don’t focus on what is dragging me down.

That is what I mean with I know it, I know it NOT.
I refer to the days when I forget to look at the garden and I forget to focus on its beauty.
I’d say, do create your own Garden of Eden.
For your own good!
I got a photo sent to me about a garden in a city, it is Jeanette’s Garden of Eden .

That is beautiful too, judge for yourself.

Another wonderful Garden of Eden

Another wonderful Garden of Eden

What I want to ask you.

Have you got your own paradise where you can feast your heart and soul on when things get tough and are drawing your focus away from the good?

  1. As far as TV and the Media, try out this video from my good friend Robin Easton:

Wow Alex, thanks for that link to Robin. I loved finding out that she is an author who loves the outdoors and that she too is ademant that TV and outside stimulation like that kills your own creativity.

Hmm, I know it, I know it not makes bells go off in my head. Being a market trader now this is perfect for me in regards to the 6:00 news. The funny thing is that the news projects doom and gloom, scarcity, being “careful” (which actually means take no action at all.) However I am profiting nicely in these so called turbulent times. Why? Because we all need to understand that the people on the news excel in reading news. Regardless of what it says, they still read it. Fantastic are they at gathering information and packaging it to pop up and frighten everybody or (more constructively but rarer) inspire and bring out the compassion in us for others.

One thing they cannot GUARANTEE, is what tomorrows news will be. Do we really know anyone who is an expert in tomorrows news? We can measure based on past performance of course, but its all prediction.

As the incredible beings that we are with all our predictions, opinions etc, the irony is we are all just scratching our heads like monkeys on a roller-coaster that doesn’t end. With that picture in mind, life then becomes quite a cackle. Nobody knows anything at 80 mph lol.

As John says, we have no idea what is going to happen tomorrow so then the only time to be happy is now. Thats all that we have folks. Thanks to John this has help me to stay in Wilma’s “I know it” realm more of the time and holding onto letting go.

Thank you for the link too Alexander, not a huge TV fan myself either. You have helped to explain why I find staring at clouds and birds fun. Its the simple difference between Coca Cola and water I believe.

Hey Blair, the ‘now’ and nature might be all we need. Fancy that, it being that simple and yet maybe it is, LOL to us too then :)

Yeah maybe life is that simple. If so then God has got to be male. j/k.

I was at a fair on the weekend and was reminded of this quote on an artwork…

The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, nor to worry about the future, but to live the present moment wisely and earnestly. Buddha.

    I really like that quote.

thanks Wilma – and I thought of you as we planted our FIRST vege garden in the weekend; I’ve had heaps of fun (and peacefulness) already watering away and catching slugs in the middle of the night (don’t want to use pellets as we’ve just watched our first brood of sparrows leave the nest)… very much feasting the heart!!
    thanks

@Janice. Yes, especially the Mt Eden gardens are such a surprise. Rhododendrons, definitely a feast for the eyes. Flowers are the best.
Shame the photo didn’t show but I got a picture in my head anyway and so might everybody else. You just reminded us of it, next best thing to a photo :)
How is that for modern age telepathy.

@ Fiona, go girl go. Well that gets you away from your computer! Dogs and nature, how powerful they are.
Can’t wait to hear about your harvest.
