Money.

Want to accelerate your learning around money!
Great, put your house on the market now or play the share market and you will accelerate your learning tenfold, guaranteed.
But make sure you have friends, lots of good friends.
On your own you will cave in and money will keep ruling the roost!

As you guess the sale of the house is quite a learning curve AND I am finally getting fed up with how our life is dominated by money.

We have no freedom around money and it is staggering to see how that is being played out right now.
Right in front of my very own eyes!

Some head lines in newspapers and some words on television can throw millions of people into panic and stop everybody, ME included in their tracks.
It is drastically wrong that this whole current money regime has me be a helpless victim.

So I want to be transformed around money, I want to change my perception of what money is.

John and others say that money is energy.
I have never really understood what that meant!

But apparently money is like air and water. It needs to flow and it is readily available.

I observed some friends on Saturday night.

These friends are a lovely couple and have lots of interests.
They are very people oriented and they love art, music, health, personal growth and learning.

They obviously don’t want to be a slave to money either and they too are struggling with the whole money question.
Like most of us they too don’t have a pot of money tucked away somewhere to fund them so they can spend all their time doing what they like doing.

So somehow they too have to figure the money thing out and I think they are doing a marvelous job.

Because they are NOT STOPPED BY MONEY.
They manage very well to do what they want to do and they don’t let the money conversation stop them.

They travel, attend courses and have created a community around their art and music.
They are oozing love, energy, vibrancy and enthusiasm.

They flow love and inspire the people around them.
They are involved in exciting activities, they are flowing money and still eating.

Besides his IT business, he is involved in many fun things, and recently he has been preserving a musical instrument called ‘marimba’ that used to be made by the Shona tribe of Zimbabwe.
He learned lovingly how to make them and is now showing people how to play them. In giving he is receiving and eventually he has made money from them as well.

She makes sculptures and exhibits and has a part time job that is flowing some cash and not consuming all her time.

The flow of energy around these people in all directions is amazing and money comes to them albeit not in large quantities.
However there always seems to be enough money to do what they really want to do AND they keep choosing to do what they want to do.

That requires courage, trust and passion. Knowing what you want and going for it.
They worked on it, I know, as I have been part of their journey.

And society frowns and says they do things the wrong way round.
Society would have them wasting years of working hard in jobs to accumulate their pot of gold with which they then finally can follow their passion.
That that would grind them down until they no longer know what their passion is, society conveniently ignores.

But my friends haven’t bought into that, they are doing it NOW and fancy that, money flows one way or another.

And are they suffering under the yoke of the current money regime.

NO. They have a rich and wonderful life.

So what is transforming me?
Seeing the mayhem of the current situation, observing friends and of course talking for years to John.
And I keep working on my beliefs and I keep observing.

I get stronger and stronger to resist the general scaremongery talk.
No, the house hasn’t sold yet . . . and yes, I could go into a major upset . . .

And yes, I could believe this is the end of our Garden of Eden and be majorly stopped
by my thoughts and beliefs.

So I hold the vision, I keep breathing and get on with flowing things in my life.

I am getting on with my life with gratitude and joy, I trust the Garden of Eden will show up and in the meantime I enjoy living in this house till it is sold.

And thank you, all my friends who commented last week, not only on this blog but in real life.

I don’t think money by nature is dirty or evil, just as air and water is not dirty or evil.
Most of us just don’t understand money.

So I work hard to have money work for me and not against me.
How do you guys out there deal with the money question?
Who is the boss?

i am watching the thames story re the mill closing with interrest……in 1997 Grafton in nsw experienced the same….3 mills closed, 2 abboittoirs, sugar mill, electricity commission privatised and 1800 out of work….our business almost folded ( advertising)

in that space genius arose….we created a jingle for Grafton and went personally to 400 businesses and played the jingle….we offered them a place on a local ad campaign we had created..we had bought 1400 ads off channel 7 and prime ….we created a 6 month campaign designed to promote grafton in other regions….

  4. Thanks for that wilma – I needed to hear it! I too have been stopped by all this talk of doom and gloom – economy wise – and right at the time we want to expand the business and achieve our huge goals! Eeek the timing is awful – I am now so panicked as everyone is saying be cautious – but I cant help but think that just makes everyone cautious and hence is causing the economy to slow even more!! Its a viscious circle – I am trying to stop and enyoy this time – look at the gorgeuos weather and be grateful for what we have already….
but I must say it has been hard – I just wish everyone (media especially) would SHUT UP! And jolly well let us get on with spending money as we want to..! Hang on I am trying to feel the flow… ha!

You feel the flow Karen, you feel the flow and please keep hanging out with great people who won’t let money stop them. I think if we create a positive energy field around us, we cannot but prosper as Wallace.D.Wattles says; “Concentrate on the good thoughts and keep doing your life.”
You have an awesome business – keep doing Karen and keep flowing Karen- keep flowing …ha!

Now this is such a powerful conversation that could have me talking for hours. I wouldn’t say that I am the only one either. We could all talk about the subject of money forever. Its good though to notice where our thinking sits around the topic, scarcity or abundance? I love what you said Wilma about money being energy and its need to flow. However I noticed too that your mentioned “like most of us they don’t have a pot of gold tucked away somewhere.” I am instantly reminded of me and Janai’s bank account. We have always been very disciplined with money and have saved a considerable amount over time. BUT, its interesting how many of us have no money and many also possess the “saving” mentality. Both, I believe still exist around scarcity . Hoarding, holding on to, guarding, petrolling, keeping an eye on, watch ya back, they are out to get me, can’t be too safe blah blah blah. Although I admire people that save, the above words completely go against the grain of money being energy flowing. Sitting in a bank, (within the wrong context), money is dead. I attended a seminar around Index trading on Wednesday night, I am going to make this my main source of income over the next 6-12 months and will replace my work income. Very profitable? Potentially YES! But this could still potentially be done out of scarcity if not aware of it despite it being a wealth building tool that defies societies norm for making money. What I really got the value in last night though, “and this is where I noticed flow around the money conversation” is where we networked with other traders and non traders for the purpose of setting up a group meeting to share experiences, new discoveries etc that each help our own growth and that of others. We are planning to get together via a physical meeting. Great conversations, very constructive and full of leadership and courage in their voices. Nothing but enthusiasm and only talk of whats possible. That to me is flow around money. Sharing.

The other thing I hope that others can benefit from around the money conversation is a free E-Course “Mind Over Money” from MindPowerNews.com. It takes a month to complete and you spend 30 days doing daily concentrated exercises to re-wire your sub conscious mind for wealth. I have just completed day 11 and already things are flowing to me rapidly. I invite you all to take a look at the website. And yes its all daily 5 min tasks and affirmations etc, all the important stuff bombarding us rergarding wealth that no one takes notice of. Its nice how the Universe never gives up re-packaging the same information for us in the hope that we eventually use it and give up the “yeah yeah yeah I know that” routine. I catch myself doing that sometimes hehe.

Hey Blair, thanks for your comment AND it is not all about money. I love your comments about people working together and taking interest in each other around a common goal. Working together can be soooo powerful and the whole money conversation would weaken considerably if we feel safe and supported by people, and money loses its grip. Cool how you mention to rewire ourselves around money, I would like the whole money conversation to disappear. Money, what money???? tell me more about your life, your happiness, your friends, your passion, your vege garden, your love of life woooahh….
