@John, great comment. Intent is a big thing that applies to most areas in our lives. As you say, intention for friendship is different than that of doing business. It is also hard if you work together with a life partner. The intent John and I have is to stay in role. If we work we intent to both play our roles, after hours we intent to be great partners. However the boundaries get blurred easily.....and it requires attention....and slipping back has consequence. Great that you noticed....

Its like getting an existing friend to be a business partner, there is a high risk of losing a friendship if things go wrong. One of my best friends was hinting once to invest money and be a partner in my business, but I said " No". The main reason was the risk of losing a friend ( as I knew our relationship/personality limits may not have stood up to the rigours of the business).
I also have slipped back a bit with my " Intent " business wise since the holidays, its a timely reminder thanks Wilma.

@ Zac. You are a real friend, those are kind words! and that is exactly what happened. As a result of my hesitance to act, John and I talked about it and I am well prepared with good intention and an action plan. The Universe moves in mysterious way with people like me, it lets me find my own way to realizations like this.

Sorry Zac, your comment got deleted with spam. I will copy your genrous reply in this way;
So Zac says; Dont be so hard on yourself Wilma - we all know what dealing wth Real Estate agents can be like so maybe you were being intentional by keeping things on the 'down low' until you have you had prepared your real estate agent briefing and interview questions so whether or not the person is a friend they have to go through the application to list process as all agents. Afterall selling a asset like a property is a significant transaction.

@Karen....I have seen you do it with your business. Intent, focus, and action and yes some left center tackles are the ones to watch out for or potholes in puddles when you are mountain biking :)
