Fairy Godmothers are result focused high achievers.

I am still challenged by seeing possibilities and creating results.
I am aware that I need to learn the skills of how to think solutions through to achieve the best possible results.
The key words here are ‘best possible’ and ‘thinking through’.

And I find Fairy Godmothers good role models for seeing possibilities and how to get awesome results.

I realized that if I was involved in getting results for Cinderella, she wouldn’t be happily living with her prince right now.
She would have been stuck where she was, although she might have ended up with some better cleaning products if she was lucky.
However clever Cinderella didn’t ask me but her Fairy Godmother.
And Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother showed me that to manifest dreams, like marrying princes or creating Gardens of Eden, it is very helpful to be result focused and resourceful.
Using a pumpkin and glass slippers for example.
And she over delivered; she got Cinderella to the ball AND marrying a prince.

So I get that I need Fairy Godmother’s focus to further my dream.
Because as a result of my dream, my life has become a steady stream of situations I need to resolve.

And the better the solutions and results I can come up with, the more leverage I create, the easier I have my dream come along in the best possible way.

A simple example might illustrate what could happen when I can crank up my result focus and intentions.

To sell the house to move to our Garden of Eden we are tidying up the garden.

John mulches the weeds with the lawnmower.

While mulching with the lawnmower the handle breaks off in such a way that repair seems tricky.

Logical conclusion is to blame the mulching.

My thinking goes to; “Replace the mower and stop mulching the weeds with the mower.”

You might think as I first did; “Gee, that is a quick and easy result, well done, no time wasted”.

However John trots off to the shop with the intention to find out about lawn mowers, their use, their length of life etc etc and what caused the problem with our current one and he has no intention to buy one yet.

I would have gone into the shop to buy the same mower and with no intention of finding out about lawn mowers as I am resigned to the fact that all lawnmowers are badly designed, break down, are irrepairable and have a short life span anyway.

The result I would have caused was another mediocre lawnmower and no solution for mulching the weeds.
Indeed no Fairy Godmother stuff here, but I have John.

John comes home with the good news that the mulching is not the cause of the break, corrosion and rust of the steel is and all the information he has gathered has given him a solution and the resources to fix it effectively.

All in all he created the best possible result by leveraging his thinking, questioning and metal working skills.

The only skills I would have leveraged would be driving the car and swiping my credit card.

And what I would have created is this;
An invoice for a mediocre lawnmower.
“And the weeds? Oh****, that problem!
Well, that is it.
It is all too hard with one thing after the other; as far as I am concerned moving to the country can stay a dream.”

The scenario John created is this.
A visit to the shop with an open mind created a solution and a result; the mower was fixed that afternoon.
The next time we do need a new mower he knows about corroding steel and the benefits of aluminum.
The mulching of the weeds continues to happen so the garden is kept tidy and the move to the country is still on target.
This problem is solved, Next…and before he knows it he lives in his Garden of Eden…

Fairy Godmother stuff that I can learn to do too.

In my opinion this shows the importance of our mindgym exercises, so;
Wow us with some of your result focused thinking and its results….

Once upon a time I went to orewa to get my car WOF. Needing to wait I ventured downtown for a coffee. Being a very hot day and wearing silly shoes I quickly got a blister.I stumbled in to the coffee shop and “quiety” asked for coffee….and a bandaid! The had one so I sat immediately, plomping my bags on the table and leaving the errant shoe at the counter….yes quite harrassed! the bandaid applied i stood to retrieve offending shoe….and loe and behold…there in front of me was a gorgeous man of about 60…impaccably dressed…holding my shoe in display fashion with both hands !! He said ” i believe this is yours ?”…and paused/….then said ” do you know the last time we did this it was a glass slipper…and you know how that ended dont you?”

and then his sclowling wife entered stage right…a nd whisked him away…
    ha….how gorgeous!

Wilma …each day i am learning the discipline of this mind gym. I have focussed myself and in the last 2 months sorted my income streams and developed some more. I now have 11. Not all fully operational but in place. I call my wealth creation my “KA Ching” account. Thats the sound made when money drops from machines or the old fashioned till is opened! I spend a considerable part of my day every day listening to the greats – Bob Proctor etc. I have found a meditation that suits me divinely and i am working to create the sustained habits of melding them all.

When challenged I can now ask myself “What is the gift here ?” And if severely challenged i know i can ring my Trek Bank and make a withdrawal or make a deposit!!

i have to say i think some of that thinking is man thinking. Though Annah Stretton says we have to get rid of our seagull management …you know, when we fly in, crap all over everything, then fly out again….she says as women we are too emotional in business and we have to learn to be a bit more like men…made me smile!!!

cheers….all is well in our world as we fly side by side

Pat, that is beautiful and yes I think a lot of our thinking is causing crap all over this beautiful creation, beautiful others and our beautiful selves. And as you say, as we fly side by side we can leave something else behind….
