@Jan, the mind is very devious and never tends to go to the sunny side if left alone. Bugger if I know why...I personally would prefer to have a mind that is positive and trusting..
It looks like if it was left to us we soon wouldn't have anybody left to receive our good deeds. We would all be pushing our favors onto each other; you take my good deed dammit so I can flourish/deposit.

Wilma, your last two blogs have been so up my alley. Thanks for that as it makes my mind work out a bit. As for the Favor Bank, unfortunately I find it easier to deposit than to ask. I need to learn and your post pushes me in the right direction.

Hey buddy, I know, I know...not asking is stingy too...
Sometimes the whole world looks topsy turvy to me...
I am surrounded by great pals though, like you, who you keep me in line...

Hi Wilma my first & dearest Buddy ... are you telling me you're still having issues asking for help??? ;-) I hope that you'll ring me up soon and ask for something - I LOVE to help people: it makes me feel useful and brings me JOY!

Hey Amanda, well some of our conversations lay the ground work for this post, so thank you!
I think that we kind of forgotten this currency. In the age of working for money, it seems that money has become the only currency which with we can get things done.
As a result there is a large focus on earning the money. Once we realize there is other currency we are freer to focus less on money generating activities such as working for dollar per hour.
There have been attempts such as barter card, but they still work at a very linear principle.
The favor bank is far more subtle and more direct.
