This is how you do it!
Shelley Yates of the ‘fire the grid’ meditation has quite a remarkable story, which she tells with great ‘down to earthiness’ and humor.
One day she, with her 4 year old son in the car, drove down a flooded road and ended up upside down at the bottom of a lake. It took at least 15 minutes before any rescue took place and by normal standards she and her son would have drowned and died. They didn’t and the story she tells on youtube about why they didn’t is extraordinary, very moving and is about ‘other beings’.
In her story one thing stood out for me.
When they took her son into hospital, he was resuscitated and kept alive on life support and tubes until Shelley, who was taken to another hospital could get to him.
Once she was declared well enough, she was transported to the hospital her son was in. Arriving there the doctors indicated that he now could be taken of life support as there was no hope he would recover. Although Shelley could see her son was hardly alive she asked for time to think.
Then the same ‘other beings’ that helped her survive re-connected and told her what she could do to save her son.
And now here comes what I find so remarkable.
She was told that when her son’s energy body was re-energized with love he could live.
They said; “For three days he needs to be touched by people who talk to him about what they love in life. It could be anything, from swimming in the sea, to eating a special flavored ice cream to reading a good book.”
They also instructed to keep anything negative out of the room. No doom and gloom was ever to be expressed in his presence. No negative talk or destructive thinking was allowed in the room to reach his ears.
And that was it! He just needed love and people expressing their joy in life.
Of course it worked and he is still alive.
But isn’t that extraordinary?
Here he was virtually dead and all he needed was to be surrounded by love and the joy of living to recover?
But then I thought. Is it really so extraordinary?
Granted I am not on live support but I too come alive when surrounded by love, joy and encouragement.
To create my own ‘alive’ life I am trying this on based on their good advice to Shelley:
- I will love what I am doing and allow lots of joy in my life.
- I will encourage others and myself in what we set out to do.
- When I am thinking about my own desires I will NOT kill them off with destructive thinking. I crush any negative thoughts, mine and yours with a fly swat.
So that is how you do it!
No excuses left.
