I found this on the prosperity from the inside out website http://www.choosingprosperity.com and I couldn't say it any better myself. So here is the quote:
Unfortunately, understanding and appreciating something on an intellectual level is vastly different from being able to
live a new philosophy on a daily basis. As we are striving to incorporate our new views into our everyday lives we will
undoubtedly encounter challenges and face confusion. The people who are surrounding us may or may not understand what we are going through. Often we find ourselves yearning for connection with someone who has already successfully navigated the course that we are on and who is inspired to share the insights he/she received on the journey. This is especially true when we are ready to make a major change in our lives. Fortunately our inner guidance system usually responds by drawing to us perfectly aligned people, ideas and opportunities to help us fulfill our deepest intentions and desires. This is the experience of miracle consciousness.

We then wonder what happened, what is wearing us out; we are reading the right books after all?

Yes but reading is only "idle knowledge" until it is adopted by us and put into everyday, regular practice. This is difficult and challenging and requires fundamental transformation but starts by observation as in your very illustrative post, Wilma.

I can fully understand what you are saying Wilma. I can remember saying some of those things myself. I especially resonate with the wanting to do everything myself and then getting stessed about everything I have to do. I need to watch my communication carefully.

I find it amazing how much attention my speaking deserves. It sometimes feels like the intense training a top sporter is going through to perform at their best.
At least I am allowed a glass of wine at the end of my training.
