The Heart defeats the Scarcity paradigm
The Heart defeats the Scarcity paradigm.
Abundance sounds great. But where is it and how do I get it?
Last weekend John and friend declared that they always found car parks.
Not me, I struggle to get them.
So I listened and noticed that they had no doubt about their ability.
But during their stories my little voice was talking too. It said they were arrogant, pushy and inconsiderate. That is how I experience the people who always take my car parks in front of my nose.
But in amongst my upset little voice I did hear them saying interesting things. Carparks spaces are not scarce, they are like the tide, coming and going all the time…
They see carparks flowing and all they do is flow with them. People moving out and them moving in. The same happens when they get in, in front of people like me. They don’t feel bad as if they were thieves. They know that one will pop one up for me if I LET IT.
And there you have it, abundance is flow. I never thought of carparks as a flow, to me they were scarce and all about missing out.
Simple; next time I just flow around to mine!
Deep down I find it hard to believe: I have twice found car parks easily!
First time I cheated, I went to the mall on a quiet day and would take any car park.
However around the corner there was a carpark at ground level, never happened before!
The second time I again did the relaxed dude routine -what I get is what I get.
I got a park at ground level right at the entrance!
I am just gathering courage to go for the third time, a bit nervous now. All that pressure to perform.
John has something to say about this:
“From our heart flows intent, from our intention flows results.
If there are NO results, then there is no intention from the heart.
When declaring something, check where you heart is in the matter.
Often we hear the term ‘your heart wasn’t in it’.
Often I hear people making statements and I hear them as invalid, I hear that their heart is not in it and I’m not surprised when they give up at the first set back.
When our heart is not in it, we struggle to rise to the occasion when set backs occur.
With our heart in it we simply rise to the occasion and get it handled. We, as loving beings are unstoppable.”
So now I just need to let go of the intent to perform. I declare it, believe it with all my heart and stop the mind saying “yeah right”.
