Thanks to Monica I realized that I suffered from an identity crisis.
I refer to the Monica who was afraid of being mentioned in my blog. She started it with talking about her internal button over a yummy dinner. She said she had a ‘looking good’ button she needed to turn off and then commented “I have to be careful, it might end up in Wilma’s blog”.
Ha, we caught her ‘looking good’ button red handed.
I never felt compelled to read the book ‘Men are from Mars, women are from Venus’.
Sure, men do things differently, but to make the gap that big was a bit too exaggerated for my taste. However…..
John and I had a fantastic holiday up North. Oh, how do I love to be in nature and live the simplest of lives. We bring a minimum of stuff with us and yet we live very comfortably.
Having little means less time to clean and tidy up and it leaves a lot of time for play. And playing we did.

Good old Dilbert, I thought this fits perfectly with last week’s blog.Funny or tragic?
I am torn between laughing and crying.
How do we get so caught up in a life we don’t like and yet not being able to move away from it. I guess listening to people’s stories gives a clue.
